AWS S3 Cost Audit: Find What You're Overpaying For

A fixed-price review of your S3, EFS and EBS spend that ends with a ranked list of changes and what each is likely to save.

From $3001 to 2 days
Scope

What you get

I don't promise a savings percentage. Results depend on how you use storage. If your monthly storage spend is small, an audit may not repay its cost, and I'll say so on the free call.

Process

How it works

01

Free 20-minute call

We look at your bill together so I can tell you whether an audit is likely to pay for itself.

02

Read-only access

You create a read-only IAM role from a policy I send you. I can look at your setup but I can't change anything.

03

Analysis

I go through the spend, the buckets and file systems behind it, and how the data is actually accessed.

04

Report and walkthrough

You get the ranked fix list and a call to go through it. If you want help applying the fixes, we agree that separately.

Questions

FAQ

How much will an S3 cost audit save me?

It depends on your data and how it is used, so I don't quote a percentage up front. The free 20-minute review shows the likeliest savings before you decide to pay for anything.

Will you change anything in my AWS account?

No. The audit uses a read-only role, so nothing in your account is changed. Fixes are applied by you, or by me under a separate written agreement.

Is this worth it for a small AWS bill?

Sometimes not. If your storage costs are low, the audit may not pay for itself. I'll tell you honestly on the free call.
