What happens in the free 20-minute AWS bill review?
We get on a call, you share your screen or a Cost Explorer export, and I point out the two or three most likely places you are overpaying on storage. There is no obligation. If I don't see a clear saving, I'll tell you.
Do you need access to my AWS account?
For audits and reviews I ask for a read-only IAM role, and I send you the exact policy to create. With read-only access I can look at your setup but I can't change anything. Any changes are made by you, or by me under a written agreement.
How much does an AWS storage consultant cost?
The offers on this page are fixed-price, starting at $300 for an S3 cost and lifecycle audit. Work that is hard to scope up front, such as performance tuning, is quoted hourly. You'll have a price in writing before any work starts.
Where are you based, and which time zones do you work in?
I'm based in Nairobi, Kenya (UTC+3) and work remotely with clients worldwide. My working day overlaps well with Europe, and with US mornings in the afternoon here.
Can you guarantee I'll save money or never lose data?
No consultant honestly can. Savings depend on how you use storage, and data protection depends on the design and budget you choose. What I can promise is a clear explanation of the options, their costs, and what each one does and does not protect against.
